Meet Ellen Davies...
I qualified from St. Mary’s hospital, Paddington in 1989. I worked in Norwich for 5 years gaining general experience in neurology, elderly care and rehabilitation, respiratory, outpatients, obstetrics and gynaecology and psychiatric physiotherapy.
In 1994 I moved to mid Wales with my husband and took a 6 month post working with the spinally injured at the orthopedic hospital in Gobowen. I then commenced work at Welshpool hospital where I still work, as well as in GP practice, with musculoskeletal outpatients and most recently elderly rehabilitation.
I have gained knowledge and attended courses on Maitland, McKenzie and Mulligans and muscle imbalance approach to muscular skeletal treatment. I am qualified, registered and insured to practice acupuncture for pain relief based upon western approach. I maintain Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapy membership (AACP), I am a Chartered Physiotherapist (MCSP) and am registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC).
